Here are a few things you can do now, that your future self will thank you for:

1. Finish all of your holiday orders

Take a look back at what sold great last year, make a wish list of new items for this year, and get those orders done early so you can focus your efforts on reaching your target audience, instead of worrying about inventory.

2. Create content surrounding holiday items

How many gift guides can one person read during the month of November? The limit does not exist. Try to set yourself apart by putting out great content surrounding your items earlier than the rest of holiday promotions. Integrate the gifts into your Fall content so that your audience already has your items in mind when it comes time to buy gifts.

Getting your events on the calendar early, and getting your audience excited is a great way to generate interest. Another great alternative is to open your doors for people to host events at your shop, bringing in new potential customers.
