Fashion Brands Encouraging You to Vote This Election

No matter how much stress our current political climate gives you, there’s one thing you can do to ensure change, and that is GO VOTE! While this past year has brought about some incredible tragedies and frustration, to me, it’s truly incredible to see our youngest generation so passionate about voting for the world they want to live in.

This Tuesday, we have a big opportunity to use our voices for change. To bring light to the importance of voting, we’re highlighting some fashion brands using their voices to encourage their audiences to vote.

1. Still We Rise

Still We Rise is an incredible non-profit organization that hosts brings together people from all creative communities to auction off products that raise money for organizations such as ACLU and Innovation Law Lab. To date, they’ve raised over $272,000 for human rights initiatives.

2. Prabal Gurung x Cynthia Rowley for Swing Left

Prabal Gurung who has been known to use his voice to speak up for injustice in the past, has joined forced with Swing Left, alongside Cynthia Rowley to create a collection of canvas tote bags. They’re described as, ‘the perfect door knocking tote,’ inspiring hope that, ‘Working together, we can take back the House.’

3. Shrill Society

How about a whole shop dedicated to women’s empowerment? We love this shop’s quirky products, such as this tote saying ‘Make America Rational Again.’


4. Tory Burch

The well-known accessories designer created a limited edition ‘Vote’ t-shirt, with 100% of the proceeds benefitting EighteenX18, a platform to engage our generation, get active + vote in the midterm elections.

5. Lingua Franca

The Made in NYC, ethical brand hand stitches messages onto their products, and made their ‘beat the system’ sweaters specifically for this election season.
